V.O.I.D is a ride far from the safe side, deep down under your skin, where emotions run endless, without control, and thoughts are well hidden far from daylight, there lies the truth, good or bad, to be told, about each of us. The musical environment supports and, at the same time, is opposed to the text message smoothing its corners in order to present a strong split of the human soul, in its most agonizing vicissitudes, without creating a pitch-black and gloomy atmosphere. The clear and precise vocals leaves no room for doubt on the intentions of the interlocutor ... who speaks of the anguish and weaknesses common to every human being by telling a vision of himself switching from first to third view. A regular structure of the songs helps to ensure a precise definition of the story making it easily accessible and the opposition of recorded instruments to synthesized sounds underlines the complexity and variety of the topic treated.

V.O.I.D. è una cavalcata lontano dai porti sicuri, in profondità nell’intimo, dove le emozioni sgorgano senza fine, senza controllo e dove I pensieri sono ben celati alla luce del sole. Lì, in ognuno di noi, giace la verità che deve essere raccontata, splendida o pessima che sia…
L’ambiente musicale culla e, al tempo stesso, si contrappone al messaggio del testo smussandone gli angoli così da poter presentare un forte spaccato dell’animo umano, nelle sue vicissitudini più agonizzanti, senza far scadere nello sconforto e nella cupezza. La vocalità netta e precisa non lascia scampo a dubbi sulle intenzioni dell’interlocutore… che parla della angosce e delle debolezze comuni in ogni essere umano raccontando una visione di sé che rimpalla da personale ad impersonale. Una struttura regolare dei brani aiuta a far sì che la definizione del racconto sia precisa ed assimilabile, nella sua semplicità priva di orpelli tecnici e la produzione contrappone strumenti registrati a sintetizzati per sottolineare la complessità e la varietà dell’argomento trattato.

The band core is formed in 2013 when Björn is contacted by Giorgio and Matteo and the three musicians begin to exchange their musical experiences meeting weekly in a studio in Camisano Vicentino; the will of the three is to create a sound and a mature communication structure, without immediate deadlines and without the stress present in other projects of which they are part. They start from the creative material already held by Giorgio and getting new life into it; trying multiples solutions over the years; compositions are often rewritten in the pursuit of personality and balance. In 2016 emerged the name of Voice Of the Inner Demon and identity is found so the first demos were sent to producers and workers in the music industry. The response was: they need for a person who can best express the vocal part of the project. Björn immediately identifies in Nicola, longtime friend and musician with experience, the missing piece and that will be able, with a few months of preparation, to record the vocal tracks of the first work: V.O.I.D.

Il nucleo del gruppo viene a formarsi nel 2013 quando Björn viene contattato da Giorgio e Matteo ed i tre musicisti iniziano a scambiarsi le loro esperienze musicali incontrandosi settimanalmente in uno studio di Camisano Vicentino; volontà dei tre è creare un sound ed una struttura comunicativa matura, senza scadenze immediate e senza lo stress presente in altri progetti dei quali fanno parte. Il lungo lavoro si sviluppa anche prendendo in considerazione il materiale creativo già in possesso di Giorgio ed instillandogli nuova linfa. Varie soluzioni vengono tentate nel corso degli anni, composizioni vengono spesso rimaneggiate nell’ottica della ricerca di personalità e di equilibrio. Nel 2016 viene trovata una identità scaturita nel nome Voice Of the Inner Demon e circolano, tra gli adetti del settore, le prime demo; in questo periodo si denota la necessità di una persona che possa esprimere al meglio la parte vocale del progetto. Björn individua subito in Nicola, amico di lunga data ed esperienza musicale, il tassello mancante che riuscirà, con pochi mesi di preparazione, ad incidere le tracce vocali del primo lavoro: VO.I.D.
